Ghost Ride the Whip, Not the Bar

Do the kids still ghost ride whips these days?  Is that still hella hyphy?  Is it dope?  The bee's knees?  Is this thing on?

Today's post is simply a friendly reminder, and not something that has come about due to any sort of epidemic - thankfully.  You folks do a great job of being mindful and respectful with your barbells, both in consideration of the gear and your fellow athletes.  Let's please keep it that way, and make ghost riding the bar a no-no we continue to frown upon.  It's sort of the CrossFit equivalent of grunting while you re-rack the bench press at a globo gym, and having your bro-spotter scream, "I'M ALL PINKIES, BRAH!!!"   

If you don't know what ghost riding the bar is, then watch this video from 1:45 to 1:58 and prepare to shake your head in disdain...   
And of course, this post wouldn't be complete without an actual pic from our gym.  Stacey wasn't actually ghost riding her bar, so it's not exactly a great example - but this could be the result of doing so...
Sadface.  Stacey has agreed to pay me in child labor (ear muffs, Elodie).  I'm kidding, people.
Stacey's bar actually skirted sideways inadvertently and she had no way of stopping it, so it's all good in the hood.  But it did give me an opportunity to take a picture and post this friendly reminder, before we all wake up one day and the gym looks like the Caddyshack gopher started doing CrossFit at AR in the middle of the night.
One of these facts about E-40 is true:
E-40 has a 2:57 Fran time.
E-40 doesn't do push-ups, he pushes the world down.
E-40 does not approve of ghost riding the bar.
If you don't listen to rap, are not from the Bay Area, or are old enough to catch my bee's knees reference above, then don't fret - this gibberish post is officially over.  Sarah literally just walked over to me and asked "wait, who's E-40?!"
