NOTE: Labor Day (Monday, Sep 1st) Holiday Schedule
We will be open on Labor Day, running a holiday schedule with CrossFit classes at 9:00am and 10:00am.  A Gladiator class will be held at 11:00am.  As always, please sign-up for classes in advance so we can plan coaching resources accordingly.
Reminder about the 280 North Freeway closure (Aug 28th @ 2:00pm - Sep 2nd @ 5:00am).

A few evenings ago we received the following email from one of our members/athletes, Katy.  She's been with us a little over a year, and as you'll read below, we've watched her fitness grow substantially in her time at Arena Ready.  It's been really fun to watch her tracking and monitoring her progress on Beyond the Whiteboard, checking the times to beat on the board and actively pacing herself according to a competitive strategy throughout her workouts.  She's exactly what we're hoping to accomplish at Arena Ready - she's grown stronger, more confident, more capable, and generally more fit in her time here, and she's got the results to show for it!  Thanks for letting us be a part of your fitness journey, Katy, and thank you for your feedback!

Hi there - 

So Nancy may not have been my first workout - but she may have been.  Regardless, it's the first workout I logged on Beyond The Whiteboard, exactly a year before this Saturday's.  Luckily I came this Saturday and that gave me a great opportunity to measure my progress since the beginning of this Cross Fit journey.

A year ago, I did white level Nancy: 15-pound OHS, and 4 rounds.  This year, I did red-ish level - though I had to row, I did 45-pound OHS and 5 full rounds.  I'd say that's pretty good progress.

Thanks for all the great coaching and support.  I'm not sure I would have stuck it out through the frustration of the first few months, not being able to perform many of the movements and feeling like an idiot, without the great encouragement you guys and the rest of the CrossFitters provide.
