Parking During Construction

by Arena Ready on December 10th, 2014

The construction on Cesar Chavez and Connecticut Streets is good for the long term (yay, imroved drainage system!) but a little annoying in the short term - so here are a few tips that hopefully ease the process of getting to AR and parking in the area.  For bypassing traffic on construction days, try going north on Pennsylvania from Cesar Chavez, then left on 25th Street, and left on Connecticut.  This will take you up and then down the hill, around the construction zone - and if you park on the hill you'll have a better viewpoint of available spaces.
Remember that if available you are welcome to park in the driveway of 1263 or 1261 Connectcut Street (our driveways), but you cannot block any other driveway.  Street parkng is also usually available on Evans Avenue just off of Cesar Chavez (south of Connectucut Street) if you prefer not to park up the hill.  It's a short walk from Evans Avenue to Arena Ready, just through two crosswalks.
The construction crew will take a break for the holidays from 12/19 through 01/05 and should be taking most of the machinery with them during that time.  We continue to try and find an alternative parking solution during construction, so stay tuned and thanks for your patience!
