Thank You From Dallas!

Thanks to all those who watched and cheered for Coach Sarah on Sunday!  Not quite the day we had planned, but in the end she still posted a total and (hopefully) nothing too serious happened to her shoulder. 

On her snatch opener Sarah felt her right shoulder tweak a bit, so we passed on her third snatch attempt entirely.  After staying conservative on her first clean & jerk, and posting a total, she made a 119kg (power) clean and decided to drop the bar and not attempt the jerk.  The lift would have given her the overall bronze medal - but she thought it best not to do any more damage, and to come back home in one piece.  We'd like to think it was a smart move!

Once again thank you so much for all of the support and love - our Arena Ready family is awesome!  We're looking forward to seeing everyone back at the gym this week.

WOD for 08-17-15:

Every 2 Minutes for 7 Rounds (14 Minutes):
2 Back Squats
Across

-then-

3 Rounds, Start Every 3 Minutes:
BUY-IN: 10 Burpees, then...
Max Reps Unbroken Wall Balls @ 20/14 lbs

Score is total number of wall ball reps.  A missed target, ball drop, or failure to squat below parallel is considered a "break" and ends the set of wall balls.
