BodySpec Added Times, GRID Match Replay, and Gridmaster Props For Coach Sarah!

BodySpec: Added Appointment Times on September 9th at Arena Ready
The BodySpec DXA scan appointments for Wednesday September 9th filled up quickly!  So we've had the folks at BodySpec add another 4-hour window for scan appointments in the morning from 6am to 10am.

GRID Match Replay (SF Fire vs. LA Reign)
If you weren't able to make it to the match in person this past Saturday, you can now watch it in its entirety online via GRID TV.  Simply sign-up for an account (it's free), and then click on the video to watch the SF vs LA match, and even the post-match press conference with Coach Sarah if you like!

Gridmaster: "Nichols, Hopping Estrella, Anderson Stand Out"
The Gridmaster gave some props to Coach Sarah following her performance in the match against the LA Reign.  Here's an excerpt from his analysis (click here for the full article):

Sarah Hopping Estrella found her footing in a big way in the match against the LA Reign. The week prior against Miami, Hopping Estrella was aided by Jolaine Undershute in the closing moments of Race 6, but this week, she needed zero assists. Executing with perfection on the Mirror and in the Echoes, she contributed rope climbs, ground-to-overhead in Quadrant 4, and crushed the clean Ladder, lending critical poundage to help the Fire win not only the overall total but the women’s total, as well.  

Over the course of the three matches in which she has played, Hopping Estrella has learned exponentially in terms of cycling a barbell quickly and efficiently, and her ability to move weight in the Echoes was instrumental in bringing her team not only the win for both races but the bonus point in Race 4.

She is a tall athlete, which makes her range of motion longer on movements like ground-to-overhead, but her strength wins out and she has taken on the fury of closing Quadrant 4 with the likes of Taylar Stallings and Jessica Phillips. If ever an athlete became a GRID athlete right before one’s eyes, it was Hopping Estrella on Saturday night. Moreover, she is humble and down-to-earth. In the post-match press conference, she displayed an understated humility that speaks volumes about her dedication to her team.

WOD for 09-04-15

Every 2 Minutes for 10 Rounds (20 Minutes):
3 Muscle-ups
4 Power Cleans @ 185/125 lbs
5 Burpees

If you cannot complete the workout with muscle-up reps and power clean loading as written, scale the muscle-ups to an appropriate movement per our recommendations at the gym, and then increase power clean and burpee reps to 5 and 7, respectively, for each round.  Enjoy!
