Body Scan a Success

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Body Scan experiment.  We were able to fill two 4-hour sessions with people interested in learning more about their body composition and health!  We hope you found it to be informative and helpful in establishing a concrete baseline regarding your current body composition.  We will plan to schedule another scan sometime around the holidays - submit your vote whether you'd prefer to bank your results pre-holiday or use the pending scan to help inspire healthy choices!

Please remember that body composition is a number influenced by many factors - muscle mass, time spent training, nutrition, genetics, age, body type, etc.  Some of these things we can and should strive to improve for better health, other things we just have to accept as unique factors of ourselves.  If your results inspire you to try to make changes, please don't hesitate to reach out to a coach or to a fellow Arena Ready athlete to ask for help in developing a strategy to reach a new goal!

Finally, the Body Scan team was very complimentary of our Arena Ready community, reinforcing what we already know: we are lucky to be associated with each and every one of you.  Thank you for being enthusiastic and friendly people.  You make time spent at the gym a joy!

Someone recently asked for a re-test of 15.2 (yes, I'm not making that up... someone actually asked for it, with a smile on her face).  Since it fit in pretty well with our week's programming, well here ya' go!  

WOD for 09-10-15:

Power Snatch + 2 Overhead Squats:
5 Sets of (1+2)‚Äč
Climbing

-then-

"Open Workout 15.2" (AKA 14.2)
Every 3 Minutes For as Long as Possible Complete:

From 0:00 - 3:00
2 Rounds of:
10 Overhead Squat @ 95/65 lbs
10 Chest-to-Bar Pull-up

From 3:00 - 6:00
2 Rounds of:
12 Overhead Squat @ 95/65 lbs
12 Chest-to-Bar Pull-up

From 6:00 - 9:00
2 Rounds of:
14 Overhead Squat @ 95/65 lbs
14 Chest-to-Bar Pull-up

Etc., following same pattern until you fail to complete both rounds.
