The 2015 Max's Gym Open: This Sunday

Come on out to Emeryville this Sunday to support our Arena Ready Weightlifting team at the 2015 Max's Gym Open, hosted by our friends Jo Ann and Max Aita.  This Olympic-style weightlifting meet has become a yearly competition tradition for many of our lifters, and this year the team (sans our superstar Masters lifters Kim & Kathy, who are on holiday making us all jealous with vacation food pics) is excited to hit the platform once again at this fantastic event.

The action takes place this SUNDAY OCTOBER 11th:

The Arena Ready Weightlifting team at the Redwood Empire Championships earlier this year
Both the Barbel RED and Barbell BLACK classes on Sunday are cancelled since the team and its coaches will be at the event for most of the day.  Open gym will most likely also be cancelled, please check the schedule to confirm.

100 Burpee Box Jump Overs @ 24/20 in

You must face the box when touching the chest to the floor to start each rep, and both feet must touch the top of the box before landing on the other side.  Neither full hip extension, nor clapping overhead, is required at the top of the rep.
