Reminder to please place your shirt orders by Tuesday evening so that we can order quantities this week.  You can read our original blog post about the shirts here (and see the design proofs), and also link to the Survey Monkey form to order your sizes.  Let us know if you have any questions regarding the shirts, and we'd be happy to help.

Holiday Party - Saturday, December 12th
We are planning on hosting our annual Arena Ready holiday party on Saturday, December 12th.  For those who like to plan ahead, and who have to manage their holiday party attendance schedule due to your popularity and social charm, please save the date so that we can share some food and drink with as many Arena Ready members (and their families) as possible!

BodySpec DXA Scans - Wednesday, December 2nd
The good folks at BodySpec will be stationed at Arena Ready once again on December 2nd as both a follow-up/progress opportunity for those who were scanned on September 9th, and as a chance for those who missed out to get scanned.  Check out our original post from the September 9th event for more info on the DXA scan, and stay tuned for more details and reminders on the blog as the December 2nd event approaches.  Anyone looking to get a jump on booking an appointment for December 2nd can do so by clicking here to reserve your spot

Macros Management with Coach Sarah - THIS FRIDAY, November 13th
With the holidays quickly approaching, and as a follow-up to her Nutritional Foundations Talk several months ago, Coach Sarah will be leading a Macros Management Talk on Friday evening (November 13th) at 7pm at Arena Ready.  This talk will cover the basics of macronutrient balance and ratios as it relates to health and performance.  Also referred to sometimes as a "flexible dieting" or "if it fits your macros (IFFYM)" nutritional approach, the management of macronutrients is a key component in health, performance, and yes even aesthetics.

As a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach, and former Head Trainer on the CrossFit HQ Seminar Staff (whose weekend seminars include an in-depth lecture on nutrition), Sarah has a wealth of knowledge on the topic of nutrition.  As a high level athlete in track & field, CrossFit, Olympic weightlifting, and GRID she's built a ton of experience in athletic performance nutrition through the constant refinement and improvement of her own regimen.  She's also counseled many other athletes and every day folks to help them find feasible nutrition strategies they can stick to in order to meet their various goals.  

This talk is FREE to Arena Ready members and all are welcome and encouraged to attend! We'll allow for Q&A time so that you can get some of your nutrition questions answered, and will also provide some light snacks and drinks for those in attendance.  You're encouraged to bring in any regular snacks or food items you regularly consume that you'd like help accounting for in your diet (e.g. "hey, I have these almonds and a banana which I brought from my office and I eat all the time - how do I account for this when balancing my macros?").  

Please sign-in for the Nutrition Talk in Mindbody (just like you would for a class) so that we can plan our refreshments ahead of time.   We look forward to seeing you all on Friday at 7pm!
