Holiday Party Potluck This Saturday!

​REMINDER: Holiday Party - This Saturday, Dec 12th 4:00pm - 8:00pm
A reminder that our annual Arena Ready Holiday Party will be this Saturday, Dec 12th.  We plan on getting started around 4:00pm, hopefully allowing those who have other parties or obligations that evening to attend.  We'll wind things down around 8:00pm.

Potluck: Paleo or Not!
By popular demand we will continue the tradition of making the party a potluck-style shindig, so feel free to bring a dish/treat/drinks to share.  Healthy options are of course appreciated but by no means required.  We have a potluck sheet at the gym on the desk, so please use it if you plan on attending so that folks can see what others are bringing.

Bring The Fam!
Our holiday parties, like many of our events, are generally family friendly - so bring your loved ones (including little ones) if so desired.  That said, we may or may not be revisiting some popular games to test our functional fitness...
Maybe bring a helmet if you're somewhat accident prone. I kid. Sorta.

WOD for 12-08-15:

Alternating EMOM for 5 Rounds (10 Minutes):
ODDS: 3 Power Snatches, Climbing
EVENS: 3-6 Strict Chest-to-Bar Pull-ups, For Quality​​

-then-

30 Rounds, Go Every 20 Seconds:
1 Power Snatch @ 135/95 lbs
3 Lateral Bar Burpees

Set a continuously-counting interval clock to 20 seconds.  If you cannot complete the round's work (1 power snatch + 3 lateral bar burpees) within the 20 second interval, you may finish the round but are forced to take the next 20 second interval "off."  You may also take an interval "off" by choice if needed to rest.  Record how many intervals it takes you to complete 30 rounds - the best possible score is 30 intervals, meaning none were taken "off" (this is the equivalent of ten minutes).
