A Message From Coach Lavinia

Many of you have been assisted by Lavinia during a WOD or have seen her running our CrossFit Kids classes for the children of our Arena Ready members.  As a P.E. teacher for the S.F. Unified School District (and the catalyst for creating and growing a successful after-school fitness club at her school), Lavinia needs some help to provide the girls in her P.E. program proper sports bras for exercising. 

She recently posted the following message in our private Arena Ready Facebook Group, and we wanted to share it here as well so that any AR folks who would like to help can contribute.

From Lavinia:

‚ÄčHello Ladies of Arena Ready,

As many of you know, I teach middle school physical education at a school in the Excelsior District called James Denman Middle School.  Our girls do not have proper sports bras while they are exercising, so I am doing a sports bra drive from now though mid-February.  

Do you have some sports bras that you do not wear, but are in good condition?  I will have a bin at Arena Ready (near my "Kids Corner" in AR North) for any donations you bring in.  We have girls of all shapes and sizes, so ANYTHING helps! 

I thank you all very much in advance for supporting our girls and our program!

Are you member at Arena Ready but not a part of our private Arena Ready Facebook group mentioned above?  Request to be added on Facebook, and while you're at it you should also (search for and) request to be added to our other private groups as well:

We use these private groups (especially the first one, our main one) to communicate and share information with our members and coaches, and other members also post useful/fun/interesting items there as well.  They are all separate from our public Facebook page.  If you have any issues finding them and/or requesting to be added feel free to contact us we can help!

MAX REPS Burpee Box Jumps @ 24/20 in

Rest 2 minutes between cycles. Score is total number of burpee box jumps.
